Financial Fitness with Julz

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

Financial Fitness with Julz (Julie Goodall, ABN 83 096 077 160) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and through our coaching services, why we collect it, how it's stored, and what rights you have over it.

This policy is written to meet the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Information Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand), because we work with clients in both countries.

1. What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details - name, email address, phone number, location

  • Enquiry and booking information - details you provide through a contact form or when booking a discovery call

  • Coaching information - financial and personal information you share during coaching sessions, in intake forms, or in follow-up materials, needed to provide the coaching service

  • Session recordings and transcripts - sessions held over Google Meet may be automatically transcribed (via Gemini AI) for note-taking purposes

  • Payment information - payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your full card details ourselves

  • Website usage information - standard technical data (browser type, pages visited) via the site's built-in analytics and performance monitoring (see section 7)

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This site and our services are intended for adults.

2. Why we collect it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and book discovery calls or sessions

  • Deliver and administer the coaching program you've signed up for

  • Send invoices and process payments

  • Send you communications you've asked for (e.g. a newsletter) — only with your consent, and only until you unsubscribe

  • Keep records we're legally required to keep (see Retention, below)

  • Improve this website and our services

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for any purpose beyond what's described here without asking you first.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for any purpose beyond what's described here without asking you first.

  • Google (Gmail, Google Meet, Gemini) - Email, video sessions, and session transcription. Processed in the United States.

  • Stripe - Payment processing. Processed in the United States, with local data processing safeguards.

  • Ivorey (website) - CRM, scheduling, contracts, and email. Processed in the United States (AWS and Google Cloud).

We only share what's needed for these providers to do their job, and we don't disclose your information to anyone else without your consent, unless required by law.

Because some of this information is processed overseas, it may be subject to the laws of those countries (including lawful access by their authorities). We take reasonable steps to only use providers with appropriate security and privacy commitments in place.

4. How we store and protect it

We store information electronically, using the providers listed above, with access limited to what's needed to run the business. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security - but we take this seriously and review our practices as the business grows.

5. How long we keep it

We only keep what we need to. In practice:

  • Invoicing and financial records are kept for at least 5 years (Australian clients, per ATO requirements) or 7 years (New Zealand clients, per Inland Revenue requirements) - this is what our own tax record-keeping obligations require

  • Everything else - coaching notes, session details, and other personal information - is kept only for as long as needed to provide the coaching service, and isn't separately archived beyond that

If you ask us to delete information we're not required to keep, we will.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See what personal information we hold about you

  • Correct anything that's wrong or out of date

  • Ask questions about how your information is used

To do any of this, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can complain to us directly first. If you're still not satisfied:

  • Australian residents can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) - oaic.gov.au

  • New Zealand residents can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner - privacy.org.nz

7. Cookies and website analytics

This site currently uses:

  • Ivorey (HighLevel), the platform the site is built on, which records basic visitor and page-view statistics as part of running the site

  • Cloudflare, for performance monitoring - this doesn't use cookies or collect personal information

  • Google Fonts, which loads typefaces from Google's servers (this can expose your IP address to Google, but sets no cookies)

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time - for example, if we start using a new tool or service. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. We encourage you to check back occasionally.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This website is operated by Julie Goodall, trading as Financial Fitness with Julz (ABN 83 096 077 160). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

These terms cover use of the website. If you become a coaching client, your coaching program is governed by the separate client agreement you sign at that time - not by this page.

1. Not financial advice

Everything on this website - and everything covered in coaching sessions - is general information and education, not personal financial advice.

Julie Goodall is not a licensed financial adviser. She doesn't hold an Australian Financial Services (AFS) licence, and she isn't a licensed Financial Advice Provider in New Zealand. Nothing on this site or in a coaching session is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific financial product (shares, KiwiSaver, superannuation, insurance, or otherwise), and none of it takes into account your individual circumstances.

Before making any financial decision, please seek advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or other qualified professional who can consider your personal situation.

2. No guaranteed results

Coaching is about building skills, habits, and confidence around money - the results depend on you, your circumstances, and how you apply what we work on together. We don't and can't guarantee any specific financial outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise of results.

3. Who this site is for

This website and our coaching services are intended for adults (18+) in Australia and New Zealand. By using this site, you confirm you're at least 18 years old.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website - including text, graphics, logos, and downloadable resources - belongs to Julie Goodall / Financial Fitness with Julz, unless otherwise stated. You're welcome to read and share links to it, but you may not copy, reproduce, or republish any of it without permission.

5. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

  • Use it for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems

  • Interfere with the site's operation or security

6. Links to other websites

This site may link to third-party websites for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Financial Fitness with Julz isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

Liability and refunds relating to the coaching program itself are covered by the separate client agreement you sign at sign-up, not by these website terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or New Zealand's Fair Trading Act 1986 that can't lawfully be excluded.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy (above), which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will reflect the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you're in New Zealand, nothing here limits any protection you have under New Zealand consumer law.
